Miss Ellen Aubee is a Servant Leader, Speaker, Teacher and Entrepreneur. She has been serving at her local church, Good Hope Union United Methodist Church for over 25 years and her community. While serving in ministry, she has had the opportunity to serve as a Youth Ministry Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, Women’s Ministry Member, Global Missions Ministry Member, and has facilitated a Young Women’s Bible Study Class. The need for helping to make the world a better place allows Ellen the opportunity to use her gifts and talents to serve in numerous non-profit organizations. Being engaged in professional and personal development has attributed to her growth in her leadership and operational management skills. At a young age, Ellen has always enjoyed helping people. This love for service led her to a 14-year career as a Healthcare Professional in Medical Imaging at George Washington University Hospital. Throughout her 14-year career span, Ellen had the opportunity to be promoted from a Radiology Technologist to Team Leader to Radiology Manager. The love for teaching also afforded Ellen the opportunity to be a Part-Time Adjunct Faculty in Radiology for 7 years. Ellen has always had a desire for being an Entrepreneur as an Event/Wedding Planner. This passion led her to launch her Event Management company, EMA Events LLC, over the last 5 years. Ellen is currently working in partnership with Girls for the Future Foundation whose mission is to mentor and empower girls and young women ages 13-25 by provision through workshops and growth experiences, and the Fanna Loum Memorial School which educates underserved and orphaned children, in The Gambia, West Africa. Ellen values being a life long learner and sharing her knowledge with others, she is creating a mentorship program for Women Ministry Leaders. Ellen’s desire is to live a Purpose Driven Life where she is impacting lives every single day. Her business will create a safe space through Spiritual Retreats, Events and Workshops that will build a community for Women and Girls to work together and feel valued.
